This recipe for pizza sauce was obtained from a television comedy called Hogan's Heroes episode called “Pizza Parlor”, Season two. The story develops around a German prisoner-of-war camp called Stalog 13. The camp is an underground network in Germany controlled by the American and British Axis Commands right under the noses of the German High Command in WWII.  (You Tube - Hogan's Heroes season 2 pizza)

  • Make me Laugh?

    Video 22 00m 05s

The target audience does not matter. The whole world is your audience. Improvising is as natural as putting on the moves or talking. The link between drama and education is improvisation or imagination. Acting as a fabrication of drama, can be developed, harnessed and understood in education, theatre and therapy. People with emotional, mental or other personality disorders; lost in their own fantasies are involved in role-playing; without any regard for the opinions of others; amateur or professional. But, in stand-up and situation comedy, there are many types of laughter.

What makes a person laugh?  Maybe because they are happy or amused. Maybe they are laughing because they are in derision or disdain. They also may laugh when at play, or at something novel say, from a sense of freedom, from the mere joy of living or even at the misfortune of another in slap-stick comedy. So there are many kinds of laughs, all of which are due to some varying causes.

There are probably two main causes for all laughter. One is physical or physiological; the other is emotional or mental. It is always the robust, hearty man who laughs. When we laugh in play, or because we feel good; this is due to a superabundance of energy. This energy can find a ready outlet in no other manner; so finds its expression in laughter and smiles. Comedy situations of any sort, on the stage or screen or in real life, cause laughter because they release this well of resource energy.

There are many kinds of laughs. Starting with a snigger, laughter can also be corny, embarrassed, full-bellied, hypocritical, mocking, polite, sarcastic, sinister, supercilious and sympathetic.¹ All of these types of laughs are due to varying causes as laughter follows. This spring of reserve is loosed when when the sense of the comic individual, the ludicrous or the absurd is touched.

Why does anything strike us as particularly 'funny'? This brings us to the mental factor. Many things do make us laugh merely because they are unusual or novel; different clothes in fashion; someone finding it difficult to perform an action we could easily perform like lifting a light object as heavy; some guy abnormally foolish, ignorant or unaware of a common local knowledge, or from seeing someone else as ourselves, etc.  The source of laughter in all such cases is the same. We feel a sense of superiority over that individual or situation, and laughter arises from our consciousness with superiority. We laugh from strength at weakness because it is ultimately a case of the 'survival of the fittest'. Many start their day with a forced a laugh; just to tighten their face muscles. It is biological in nature.²

Emotional Synthesis or the Temporal Fourth Dimension²

This may be a bit high-brow for some but anyways, Einstein's Theory of Relativity questions the concept of the temporal fourth dimension otherwise known as the pausing second or time machine. Einstein proposed that time is the fourth dimension, as we know; but this is not a dimension, strictly speaking.¹

The world in which I live is a three (3-D) dimensional world. It has combinational breadth, height and length. In theory, a fourth dimension is provable with geometrical figures. It is practically impossible for anyone to conceive the fourth dimension in our minds; except by analogy.

Example One: Starting at a given point, I can draw a one dimensional line of length. Move this line at right angles to itself, on a flat surface, and you generate a square with breadth and length.  Move this square at right angles to itself, and you generate a cube adding height. Theoretically, it should be possible to move this cube at right angles to itself, in some direction, and generate a 'tesseract' or 'hypersolid'; giving us a fourth dimension.

Example Two: Starting at a given point, draw two lines through it at right angles to one another, on a sheet of paper. If I want to draw a third line through the point, at right angles to the first two, you have to draw it art right angles to the paper itself, as though you were standing up in the air. The method of drawing a fourth line thru the point of reference, at right angles to the other three would be the fourth dimension.

Example Three: a right-hand glove cannot be turned into a left-hand glove unless it is turned inside out.

Example Four; A hollow rubber ball can be turned inside out in the fourth dimension without tearing the ball.

Example Five; It is impossible to tie a true knot in a piece of string in two dimensions because one end has to be lifted over the other into the third dimension. In three dimensional space, it is impossible to tie a piece of string; both ends of which have been held or sealed.

Example Six: If you had a box containing some rings, I cannot see the rings; so long as the box is kept on a level with the eyes in two dimensions. But if you elevate your eyes or lower the box, and look into it from above, you can see the rings inside. That is, by adding another (third) dimension, you are enabled to see what you could not see before, in a 'closed space'. It has been contended that by adding a fourth dimension, it is possible for clairvoyants to see what is to us a closed room or box and describe its contents. Therefore, it has been contended that clairvoyance is fourth dimensional sight. It is certainly true that, by adding another dimension, we are enabled to see things which would otherwise be invisible. Of course, this is merely an analogy, which cannot be pressed too far.

Example Seven: By employment of x-rays, the scientist is now able to discover the arrangement of the atoms and molecules within the crystal 'network structure' or 'space lattice' of any crystal known as the bravais lattice. The results are obtained from the study of the reflection and refraction of the rays in crystal chemistry, or the successive rows of molecules in the crystal. These act toward the extremely short x-rays in the same way as a grating spectroscope does to ordinary light-rays. Is this the fourth dimension?

While the fourth dimension cannot be visualized by the mind, a good deal has been learned concerning it, from the theoretical point of view and mathematically it can be shown to be not impossible.  Its geometry is well known. The subject was exhaustively treated by authors such as Hinton, C. Bragdom and Munn and Company's 'The Fourth Dimension Simply Explained'.

2010-10-13 (page 44) International Metro News has reported that the Canada's University of Guelph will open a a new lab that's designed to improve the health of animals, humans and the environment. The lab, according to the CBC radio, will rival that of other countries even though it has a small budget allotment.

Also this month, Toronto has announced on the CN Tower that scientists have succeeded in bar-coding thousands of DNA.

This is all well and good because throughout the ages, man has sought a means of prolonging life and he is still searching. An elixir of life was one of the things sought by the mediaeval alchemists. Pathobiological science holds out to us the hope that life may at least be prolonged for a considerable period. A rejuvenation by some means would serve to stimulate the activities of the body and, to some extent, at least, renew its youth.

Studies by Prof.Voronoff have shown that the rapidity of growth attributed to the body, and its aging, depend largely upon the vitality of something that controls the life and death of the body. It is not known why the human body should die at all. The body is a mechanism which has somehow learned to repair itself with an Automated Repair System (ARS).

What is the real cause of hunger? There are two types of hunger (true and false) known to physiologists as habit hunger. As soon as the stomach is really empty, slight muscular contractions begin to take place. These pass like waves or ripples across the stomach, and increase in frequency and violence the longer food is withheld. These contradictions are what we feel, and know as the pangs of hunger? They are the local cry of the stomach for food. We feel this craving in the stomach, and also bodily craving. Together they make up the set of symptoms known as hunger and it is because of them that we feel hungry. If a glass of water be taken and the mind diverted, this craving will soon disappear; which would be impossible if true hunger were being manifested.²

The food we eat is constantly being converted into energy and new tissue. The tissues need to be fed. In this sense it is true that the body of a man of seventy is as young as the body of a baby six months old! Both have been newly made from the food eaten, and yet in one case we have an infant, and in the other, an elderly man.

Science, does not yet know precisely the cause of this, but we are beginning to suspect that the cause of old age lies in the nature of the secretions of the ductless glands, particularly the sex glands. So long as these are vigorous, youth is maintained, and when they become devitalized, old age and general degeneration set in.

A process of grafting portions of certain ductless glands onto inactive glands in the patient's body allows new secretions of life. The portions that have been grafted, seem to restore the whole gland to a new life and vigor. The health and youth of the subject is thereby largely restored. The genome map could point the way to blood relations of man with a higher robust vitality.

It is the secretions of these ductless glands to which we must look for our 'elixir of life' at the present time. There seems to be no reason to doubt that when each operations becomes simplified, we shall have here a means of extending life and rejuvenating it. The importance of these ductless glands, may readily be seen; and it is possible in a generation or two, we shall have 'gland-mothers' instead of grandmothers.²

     War-game Scenario?

According to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), “Electronic Warfare (EW) is a military command threat in recognized action, involving the use of electromagnetic and directed energy, controlling the electromagnetic spectrum to attack an enemy. The three major subdivisions of Electronic Warfare include Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP), and Electronic Warfare Support (ES). EA uses electromagnetic or directed energy to attack an enemy’s combat capability. EP constitutes protection of (friendly) combat capability against undesirable effects of friendly or enemy employment of EW. ES includes surveillance of the electromagnetic spectrum for immediate threat recognition in support of EW operations and other tactical actions such as  homing, targeting and threat avoidance.  (Note that these definitions disregard the role of anti-radiation missiles in electronic warfare.)”

Here's a scare just in time for Halloween on a global level - a reprogramable computer -guided cyber-missile capable of destruction; just as a conventional physical warhead. ¹ The “stuxnet worm” malware (discovered 2010-06) seems to be designed to attack Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) of automation with an Infiltration, Take-over and Inform reprogramming code on their system. The special code that controls the automation of industrial processes is threatened. Cyber-security has identified the cyber weapon infiltrating specific computer systems running industrial complexes, somewhere in a foreign country under (http://www.atomstroyexport.com/index-e.htm).

A compromised web site that tries to download stuff  from a malware site has been shut down for more than two years known as  (www.bubamubaches.info).  After a two month dormant period, Stuxnet infiltrates the system, copies the data, resumes control of the system infected, and reprograms the system to sabotage operations with watch-dogs in place. According to a well-known security company (published on August 6, 2010), Stuxnet isn’t just a rootkit that hides itself on Windows, but is the first publicly known rootkit able to hide injected code located on a PLC.

This whole concept has been expanded upon with science fiction television;  i.e. SeaQuest DSV Pilot, Star Trek's Borg Nano probes and Stargate Atlantis nanites; it's nothing new – just interesting to see it in real time out of sidereal time.

“Psychological Operations (PSYOP) are one type of military action that supports Information Operations (IO) goals. Employed independently, PSYOP can have a measurable effect on the adversary. If their military potential is to be maximized, however, PSYOP cannot be conducted in a vacuum; rather, they must be woven into the strategies and operations of joint and multinational forces.” ²

So, we're talking about a nuke company  (http://www.atomstroyexport.com/index-e.htm) with a two year old web presencee (www.bubamubaches.info)? Strange, they don't know one should always keep the subject line of PACER WARE or Serene Byte messages UNCLASSIFIED.³

    War's Psychological Operations ( PSYOP ) OBJECTIVES

"The history of armed conflict amply demonstrates the efficacy and value of psychological operations (PSYOP) across the range of military activity. The objectives are to project the image of a strong, technologically superior, well-prepared military force that will win on the battlefield and protect North America, its friends, and multinational partners whenever necessary; foster an understanding of political aims, objectives, and policies; foster support for multinational operations; arouse foreign public opinion or political pressures for (or against) a military operation; undermine confidence in adversary leadership; lower the morale and combat efficiency of adversary forces; increase the psychological impact of and multinational combat power; support other elements of Intelligence Operations ( IO); counter hostile foreign psychological operations and propaganda efforts; influence the development of adversary strategy and tactics and amplify economic and other nonviolent forms of sanctions against any adversary."

( An excellent example of this in use can be enjoyed by a comedy hit series;  set in a time before or after the Chateau and Cinema gathering of the German High Command. Prisoners of War were the liaison between the Underground Resistance and Allied Forces of WWII. Soldiers were breaking into a Prisoner of War Camp to escape the area. The name of the series and movies escapes me at the moment. )

  • The Queen's Plate Bet

This is my first time at the track. The following summarizes my observations and actions.

    1. The Queen's Plate has thirteen horses in the tenth race.
    2. A $2 bet across the board (win, place, show) will cost me $6.
    3. The biggest odds show three horses - 30:1, two horses - 20:1, one horse - 15:1.
    4. To cover the field will cost me $78.
      • One of the horses will come in first and I will collect the winning odds on the win, place and show.
      • One of the horses will come in second and I will collect the winning odds on a place and show.
      • One of the horses will come in third and I will collect the winning odds on a show.
    5. Therefore, I am guaranteed six (6) wins on the all inclusive bet.

The only questions open are will the odds hold and the amount of the payout. I hope to at least break even.

I received from the pay-window 50% of my loss recovered.
