Coaching the Pet Owner
The big outdoors is perfect for walking the pet. Both the owner and pet need the fresh air and exercise. Walking the pet needs no special skill but does require a certain finesse or technique. The pet must be attached to a tether, with the owner or walker/trainer close by to restrain the animal in case of reaction to whatever until they do their business.
People and children use the parks, playgrounds and sidewalks for recreation and do not appreciate stepping in a pets' left-over mess. Public pet-parks are now a common sight. Public bylaws, in place for the majority of citizens and property owners, are strictly enforced outside the restricted fenced in pet areas. Littering fines could be costly as, the local civic government is scrambling for the revenue. Look over your shoulder, almost everybody has a phone camera for evidence collecting.
The "stoop and scoop" procedure is not always understood and does sometimes, result in a misunderstanding of intelligence to the owner. Step by step, the pet needs direction with their public display of "gotta get rid of it somewhere" attitude. For this enjoyable relief of approaching the end of the walking exercise, may we suggest preparedness for it. At the beginning of the pet walk - consider the end of the animal left-over remains.
Some pets are trained to talk to the handler. They use certain gestures like pointing with their paws to the mess or clawing dirt, leaf and twig to the area in question. This is an excellent sign of pedigree training and should be addressed immediately before the purebred makes too much noise.
The pet-walker needs, an official civic government enforced nickel (5 cents) plastic bag, for the refuse placement in the nearest trash container – that is what it's for. Any pet also appreciates a clean swipe after doing their business. May we suggest "Lysol Disinfectant Wipes". These wipes murder 99.9% of common viruses and bacteria associated with the pet droppings both on the pet and hands. Lysol Disinfectant Wipes also murder (kills) influenza A virus, just like soap and water.
I approve of this product and highly recommend it for the conscious pet owner not holding their nose after the walk. Yes, this was a product review disguised as feedback to the news.
