Electronic Snafu
War-game Scenario?
According to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), “Electronic Warfare (EW) is a military command threat in recognized action, involving the use of electromagnetic and directed energy, controlling the electromagnetic spectrum to attack an enemy. The three major subdivisions of Electronic Warfare include Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP), and Electronic Warfare Support (ES). EA uses electromagnetic or directed energy to attack an enemy’s combat capability. EP constitutes protection of (friendly) combat capability against undesirable effects of friendly or enemy employment of EW. ES includes surveillance of the electromagnetic spectrum for immediate threat recognition in support of EW operations and other tactical actions such as homing, targeting and threat avoidance. (Note that these definitions disregard the role of anti-radiation missiles in electronic warfare.)”
Here's a scare just in time for Halloween on a global level - a reprogramable computer -guided cyber-missile capable of destruction; just as a conventional physical warhead. ¹ The “stuxnet worm” malware (discovered 2010-06) seems to be designed to attack Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) of automation with an Infiltration, Take-over and Inform reprogramming code on their system. The special code that controls the automation of industrial processes is threatened. Cyber-security has identified the cyber weapon infiltrating specific computer systems running industrial complexes, somewhere in a foreign country under (http://www.atomstroyexport.com/index-e.htm).
A compromised web site that tries to download stuff from a malware site has been shut down for more than two years known as (www.bubamubaches.info). After a two month dormant period, Stuxnet infiltrates the system, copies the data, resumes control of the system infected, and reprograms the system to sabotage operations with watch-dogs in place. According to a well-known security company (published on August 6, 2010), Stuxnet isn’t just a rootkit that hides itself on Windows, but is the first publicly known rootkit able to hide injected code located on a PLC.
This whole concept has been expanded upon with science fiction television; i.e. SeaQuest DSV Pilot, Star Trek's Borg Nano probes and Stargate Atlantis nanites; it's nothing new – just interesting to see it in real time out of sidereal time.
“Psychological Operations (PSYOP) are one type of military action that supports Information Operations (IO) goals. Employed independently, PSYOP can have a measurable effect on the adversary. If their military potential is to be maximized, however, PSYOP cannot be conducted in a vacuum; rather, they must be woven into the strategies and operations of joint and multinational forces.” ²
So, we're talking about a nuke company (http://www.atomstroyexport.com/index-e.htm) with a two year old web presencee (www.bubamubaches.info)? Strange, they don't know one should always keep the subject line of PACER WARE or Serene Byte messages UNCLASSIFIED.³
